The data workstream is about trying to give and get access to information on humanitarian aid that we can all use and understand. We’re starting with trying to help you navigate your way around, publishing what we know, highlighting what we don’t know and showing you how we got our figures. Our programme exists because truly global and comprehensive data on humanitarian aid is so hard to get hold of. It is important because more transparent data on how money is channelled through the system is a precondition for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
