Georgina works for the Global Humanitarian Assistance (GHA) programme as Communications Officer on a range of projects including the coordination of report production, outreach activities, and website development. She worked previously in the field of UK child poverty, latterly for The Buttle Trust in communications and project management and formerly assisting in Oxfam’s media unit. She has worked on short-term development projects in Benin, India and most recently Uganda where she implemented an educational programme for an abandoned babies project in Kampala.
Georgina studied French and Italian at Bristol University, which involved spending several months in la Réunion and Perugia and later spent a couple of months learning Spanish in Seville. She has recently undertaken studies in International Studies with the Open University.
