Global Humanitarian Assistance 2006

2005 created a new environment for global humanitarian assistance. Are the emerging patterns and trends unique? Or do they signal a new architecture with a more diverse set of actors and different ways of working?

GHA 2006 attempts to answer these basic questions and to look at humanitarian assistance – present, past and future – in the context of the major factors influencing the international humanitarian environment and donor community.
